Do you offer emergency commercial garage door repair?

Yes. A commercial door stuck open leaves the building unsecured and a door stuck shut can stop the operation entirely, so we treat both as urgent rather than as a next-available appointment. Tell us when you call which of the two it is, because it changes how we dispatch.

Our door was hit by a forklift. Can it be repaired or does it need replacing?

Often it can be repaired. If the impact popped the door off track and bent one section, a panel replacement and track work usually puts it right. If several sections are deformed or the track and jamb took the hit, replacement can be the cheaper answer once you count the repeat visits. We will show you what we are looking at and give you both numbers rather than deciding for you.

What kinds of commercial doors do you install?

Sectional steel doors and full-view aluminum doors, working from C.H.I., 1st United Door and AlumaDoor. Sectional steel is the standard for warehouses and distribution centers. Full-view aluminum is what most service bays, dealerships and retail frontage want for light and visibility.

Do you work on dock levelers and dock equipment?

No. We service the doors, including dock door springs, crashed doors, track and rollers and operators. We do not currently work on dock levelers, seals, bumpers or restraints. If that is what you need, a dock equipment specialist is the right call and we will tell you that rather than send a truck.

Can you service gates as well as doors?

Yes, we are licensed for commercial gate work. We repair and replace gate openers and operators, safety devices, access control and the hardware the gate rides on at business parks, storage yards, apartment communities and HOA entrances. We do not fabricate or build gates.

Do you work with property managers and HOA boards?

Yes, and it is a large part of what we do. We can document what we found and what the work involves in a form that goes in front of a board without you having to translate it, and we can work across multiple properties under one point of contact.

Do you work with contractors on new buildings and remodels?

Yes. We work with general contractors, remodeling companies, custom home builders, renovation firms and restoration companies that need doors specified, ordered and installed on a schedule that fits the rest of the job.

What does commercial maintenance actually cover?

Scheduled inspection and service of the doors and operators on your property so failures get caught while they are still cheap. Programs are scoped by door count and usage rather than sold as a flat plan, so a two-door shop and a twelve-door distribution center are priced differently. This Buckeye home has two garage doors, and one had a broken spring. Our tech took the torsion system apart and found the 2021 hardware on the large door still in good shape, so it got a full lubrication and a limit reset instead of parts it didn't need. The smaller door would not stay balanced anywhere in its travel, a sign its springs were no longer carrying the door's weight, so we replaced them with 5-year springs. Spring and Roller Replacement in Cave Creek

At this Cave Creek home we replaced the door's springs with 5-year springs and installed new rollers. After the swap, our tech checked the balance with a scale under the door (pictured).
