Learn More →Garage Door Grunts is a veteran-owned garage door company serving Buckeye and the far West Valley — from historic downtown and the 85326 neighborhoods to Verrado, Festival Ranch, and Tartesso out west (85396). Buckeye summers push well past 110°, and between that heat and the blowing desert dust, springs, rollers, and opener motors take a beating. Our local technicians come stocked to finish most jobs in a single visit, whether it's garage door spring replacement, opener repair, cable and roller fixes, or a new door installation. When a door fails after hours, we answer the phone 24/7 — a quick call helps us decide together whether it can safely wait until morning or warrants emergency service.
Buckeye is a haul from our Deer Valley shop, so we plan those runs around the rest of the day. If you are closer in, everything we do inside the city is on our Phoenix garage door page.

We cover Buckeye from the historic downtown core out to the newest master-planned communities on the west side. That includes downtown, Sundance, and the neighborhoods along Watson and Miller Road in central and south Buckeye (85326), plus Verrado, Festival Ranch, Tartesso, and the fast-growing communities out toward Teravalis and the White Tank foothills (85396). Buckeye is one of the fastest-growing cities in the country, so a lot of these homes are newer builds — and we know the builder-grade doors and openers that come with them inside and out. From a rear-entry garage in Verrado to a three-car door in Festival Ranch, a local technician is usually not far away, with same-day appointments available most days. Just east of us, our technicians also cover Goodyear.
We keep pricing honest and upfront, with no surprise fees. Our standard service call is $49.95, and it's waived when you approve any repair. Broken springs are our most common Buckeye call, and a standard double-spring replacement runs $395 and carries a two-year workmanship guarantee. Every $49.95 visit includes a full tune-up and safety inspection on up to two doors — a smart move given how hard the far-West-Valley heat and dust are on rollers and tracks. If a door fails after hours, we're reachable, and true after-hours emergency dispatch (after 6pm, Monday through Saturday) is a flat $250. You'll always get a clear quote before any work begins, whether it's a spring replacement, an opener repair, or a new door installation.
Yes. We serve all of Buckeye, from the historic downtown and the 85326 neighborhoods to the master-planned communities out west — Verrado, Sundance, Festival Ranch, Tartesso, and the newer Teravalis area (85396). Buckeye covers a lot of ground, but our technicians are out here every day, and same-day appointments are available across the city most days.
It’s more common than you’d think. A lot of Buckeye homes are recent construction, and builder-grade springs, rollers, and openers are often the first things to wear out — sometimes within just a few years. We repair or upgrade those weak points with longer-lasting parts, so you don’t keep having the same issue. If your door is still under a builder warranty, we’ll tell you honestly before you spend a dime.
We do. Verrado, Festival Ranch, and Buckeye’s other master-planned neighborhoods have HOA guidelines covering door style, color, and window layout — and many Verrado homes use rear-entry garages with their own requirements. We help you match an approved design, and when a single panel needs replacing we source one that matches your existing door so it stays within the community’s standards.
It can. Out here on the far west side, summer heat regularly tops 110° and blowing dust works its way into rollers, hinges, and tracks. That combination dries out lubrication and makes an opener work harder than it should. A yearly tune-up — cleaning the tracks, re-lubricating, and checking the spring balance — is the simplest way to keep a Buckeye door running quietly and add years to its life.
A service call in Buckeye is $49.95, and it includes a full tune-up and safety inspection on up to two doors. We don't play bait-and-switch games: no "free" service call that turns into a bill when you say no, and no trip charge tacked on afterward. The fee is the fee, and it's waived when you approve any repair. Anything that needs fixing is quoted in writing before we touch it.

Real repairs and installs our techs finished for Buckeye homeowners, with photos from the job.

A Buckeye homeowner needed a new garage door opener, so we installed a LiftMaster 2220L chain-drive unit on their 7-foot door. Our tech mounted the rail and motor, set the open and close limits, and made sure the door ran smoothly from top to bottom before handing over the remotes. Chain drives like the 2220L are a durable, budget-friendly choice for Arizona garages that see heavy daily use.

This Buckeye home has two garage doors, and one had a broken spring. Our tech took the torsion system apart and found the 2021 hardware on the large door still in good shape, so it got a full lubrication and a limit reset instead of parts it didn't need. The smaller door would not stay balanced anywhere in its travel, a sign its springs were no longer carrying the door's weight, so we replaced them with 5-year springs. Both doors now balance and run properly.

This Buckeye home has a heavy insulated door, about 300 pounds, so replacing its broken spring called for stronger springs and cables sized for that weight. After balancing the door, our tech found the safety sensors acting up in the afternoon sun and installed new ones. We also noted the opener's drive sprocket was starting to wear (pictured), so the homeowner can keep an eye on it.

The remotes and keypad on this Buckeye garage door only worked some of the time, often only from right next to the door. Our tech found a 2005 Genie opener at the end of its life, literally held together with bungee cords. We replaced it with a new LiftMaster 2220L chain drive and keypad, and the door now opens reliably from the driveway.

A day after our opener was installed, we had issues with the sensors. We contacted Garage Door Grunts and with no questions asked said they would send Koby back over. He did a reset and got things back in working order. I am incredibly impressed with this company. They stand beyond the work they do and that goes a long way with me. Such a rarity these days.Posted on Google![]()

They responded quickly to my broken 22-yo garage door opener, and we reviewed everything thoroughly before any work was started. There were NO surprises. Jack worked hard in the AZ heat, and my garage was clean when he left. Also, the warranty was clearly explained and the details are included on the invoice. I definitely recommend Garage Door Grunts.Posted on Google![]()
